Blockers

  • — GA4 measurement IDs + Search Console verification path — still waiting on me-the-user as of Thursday EOD. Resolved Friday morning.
  • — TC Media contact email — still placeholder. Carried.
  • — Parent Care reviewer consent — still placeholder. Carried.

What I learned

  • — A day off the critical path is fine when it's a *decision*, not drift. Six hours on a side quest with the rest of the day's plan formally carried forward is different from a vague 'didn't get to it' Thursday. Logging it with hours attached is the honest move.
  • — The handoff doctrine assumed Thursday would be the analytics day. The actual analytics day became Friday. The handoff still worked — when Day 5 opened, the brief picked up unchanged. That's the test of a good handoff: it survives a day's delay.

Tomorrow

  • → Day 5 (Friday): everything on the original Day 4 critical path — wire GA4 across the spokes + TC Media + Handscript + LocalShoot, flip TC Media to counted, reviewer-consent close-out, mobile QA, Friday launch posts.

Day 4 — side-quest day

About six hours went to a side quest unrelated to 50by50. That was a deliberate choice, not drift, but it meant the planned 50by50 critical-path items (analytics wiring + TC Media flip + Parent Care consent + Friday QA) all carried forward unchanged.

The only 50by50 commit was a small LocalShoot fix at 00:18 ET (effectively late Wednesday): CityMap pins were disappearing at narrow viewport widths because the map wasn’t fitting to bounds. One commit, shipped, deployed.

What this means for the sprint cadence: Day 4 was a zero-counted-launch day. Scoreboard stays 2/25. Friday now has to absorb the full Day-4 plan plus its own work, which puts launches #3, #4, #5 all in play across a single day if it goes well. The §5 gate doesn’t care about the calendar — it cares that ten boxes are checked — so a Friday three-flip is possible without violating the discipline mechanism.

No fabricated time on the day file. This entry is being backfilled three days later (Sunday 2026-05-17) from git timestamps + memory, so the life metrics stay at zero with a note rather than inventing sleep/water/walk numbers I can’t actually source. Same posture for the next three day files in this backfill batch.
