Sunday, May 17, 2026 · Phase 1

Tasks

  • [x] Backfill daily logs for Days 4-7 from git timestamps + session memory
  • [x] Flip TC Media counts_toward_total: true in roadmap.yaml (counted launch #3 — the carry from Day 5)
  • [x] Bump trackers/portfolio.md counted-launches total 2 → 3, add TC Media to live-sites table
  • [x] Update LAUNCH_LOG.md analytics line for LaunchCost / Parent Care / TC Media
  • [x] Add CHANGELOG.md entry for TC Media counted launch (Day 7)
  • [ ] Replace [email protected] placeholder in TC Media
  • [x] Parent Care reviewer-consent close-out (Option B: credential-only entries)
  • [x] Mobile QA dry run on LaunchCost + Parent Care (simulated at 375px in dev preview)
  • [ ] Pre-existing MethodologyBox visual quirk surfaced (not fixed this session)
  • [ ] Search Console verification + sitemap submission across the spokes
  • [ ] Week 1 weekly review (per playbooks/sop-weekly-review.md): Path C cadence check + Week 2 niche selection (HVAC Quote Decoder + Roof Storm Checklist)

Blockers

  • — TC Media contact email — still placeholder. Two-file grep-and-replace once the real address exists.
  • — Launch posts (LinkedIn + Hub) — needed before Week 1 has a clean public-facing close-out. Real-device mobile QA also still pending before any post links to LaunchCost or Parent Care.

What I learned

  • — A daily file written three days late is a worse artifact than one written same-day, but a much better artifact than no file at all. Backfilling from git timestamps + session memory loses the life-metrics + the mid-day texture, but preserves the task accountability + the carry-forward chain. The honest move when life-metrics are unsourceable retroactively is leaving them at zero with a 'backfilled' note, not inventing numbers.
  • — The §5 launch gate and the public scoreboard need to stay in sync within ~24h of each other. Friday's GA4 ramp closed TC Media's gate but the roadmap.yaml + portfolio.md didn't catch up until Sunday. That's a three-day window where the public scoreboard understated reality. Fix going forward: doc updates land in the same session as the gate-close work, not 'when I get back to it.'

Tomorrow

  • → Day 8 (Monday): start Week 2. Week 1 weekly review either lands today before EOD or rolls into Monday morning. Carry-forwards still on Monday's plate: TC Media contact email + launch posts + real-device mobile QA + SC verification. Reviewer consent + simulated mobile QA closed today.

Day 7 — log backfill + close the doc gap

Sunday opened with three undocumented days behind it (Thursday’s side-quest day, Friday’s GA4 ramp, Saturday’s zero day). The first work of Day 7 is reconstructing those days from git timestamps + session memory and getting the public scoreboard back in sync with reality.

TC Media counted as launch #3 today. The §5 gate actually closed Friday once the GA4 wire-up verified live, but the counts_toward_total: true flip in roadmap.yaml + the portfolio.md bump didn’t ship until today. That’s a three-day doc lag against actual ground truth — annotated honestly in the Day 5 file’s carry-forward list and resolved in today’s task list rather than rewritten into Day 5 as if it had happened then.

Scoreboard now: 3 of 25 minimum / 50 stretch. Week 1 closes today (or rolls into Monday morning) at three counted launches against a Path C cadence target of three per week. On pace, with no buffer.

What’s still open and stacks on Monday. TC Media contact email, Parent Care reviewer consent, mobile QA on both spokes, Friday’s launch posts (now Day-8 launch posts), and the full Search Console pairing across all the spokes. None of them are critical-path-blocking today; all of them are still blocking the clean public-facing close of Week 1.
